Comics are a means of expression where images and texts combine, an art which allows you to be spectators and participants of the story, using drawings to illustrate reality but also to interpret it.
The strength of comics is the immediacy of the image, and this is exactly the trait this art has in common with the web: immediacy in communicating, the speed in transferring the message to be conveyed.
Over the past few years several artists have been experimenting with new ways of creating, promoting and disseminating their comics and interacting with their readers through the Web. It is exactly in this art that paper and digital become complementary.
Also this edition will feature comics and cartoon illustrators who will sketch their views of the two-day event.
Here are some of the artists who will describe the Festival using their pen.
